Saint Martin de Porres | Ascension

I partnered with Fr. Josh Johnson and Ascension to create this painting of Saint Martin de Porres. He is depicted wearing his Dominican habit and carrying a basket of bread to serve the poor. He is surrounded by the olive trees he is said to have planted and which still stand in Lima to this day. The unique style of his halo reflects his Peruvian culture.
